Running Strip-Chart Demo
THIS IS NOT A COUNTER SERVICE - you are welcome to grab a copy of the applet below for non-commercial use on your own data source - but PLEASE don't load this applet from my site into your page - it won't work that way any more anyway. - Thanks!
USAGE NOTE 3-24-98: It looks like some folks have been just letting this demo run for hours and hours and hours ... so I had to add a little code to the applet to limit the length of time it will run for any particular visitor. I've currently set this for @ 15-20 minutes using the current speed parm setting of the several applets on this demo page.
Also, I had to make some changes that will allow me to tell the applet to actually stop so that I can sort of "bump" the applet if too many folks have it running at once.
You might want to remove this code if you grab a copy of the applet source for use on your system.
Don't forget to drop by and take a look at the other hav.Software Java Stuff - demos and products like chat, live gauges, stripcharts, rolling reports, neural net libraries, etc.

NOTE: if you're not running on a NeoWebScript/Apache server, or if you want to display some other value, then you'll need to write your own cgi or whatever to provide the data to be displayed.
You may also download a copy of the class file for this applet. (if you have trouble with this download link, try right-clicking and saving the link to your disk to get the .class file)
