I'm REALLY not sure why anyone would want this, but for those that have asked for it, I've added both an RSS Feed and an mRSS Feed for the "Best of a Bad Lot" entries.

Antonio Vivaldi:
Concerto RV 532 - Trio (Ar by JF Delcamp)

Well - I have been threatening to do this for a while now and today is a rainy day soooooo I went ahead and recorded the 1st part of this Concerto trio arranged by JF Delcamp and available in the music library at Delcamp.net.

FOR SURE - check out the next version - the one here (2/10) is pretty lame but we added 3rd member and have a pretty good version as our next - look at the 2-15-06 page -- or the entry in the Best of A Bad Lot table on the main page

I blow it in a couple of places but not tooo badly - and the timing seems off in places when I try to play the other parts but hey - it's been a LONG 26+ years since I actually played with anyone so not too bad for a first effort I guess. This was the 4th take and I was getting frustrated as heck that such a simple little ditty was causing me such headache!!!

The dynamics and color aren't very good but, if anyone else on the forums would like to record the other parts I'll try to join them and post the complete mp3 on the forums.

I've included the vid in both raw (in case someone would like to try and clean it better) and cleaned formats - no processing was done other than to remove the noise. So you can watch and listen with headphones as you record one of the other parts.

Anyway - let me know if you do and I'll try and join them.

Well bless his heart - Perf De Castro was actually brave enough to try and follow my - I was going to say "my poor" lead - but "poor" doesn't come close to actually describing my lackluster rollercoaster performance of part 1 - but he did a terrific job of following AND playing both other parts AND MAKING a combined vid (which I need to get him to tell me how he did!!) - I've included an mp3 and his vid of the combibed parts below - Thanks Perf!! You're a super human rollercoaster player!! I have NO idea how you managed to follow this so well!!

UPDATE: I uploaded a couple of new AVI files for Perf to use (or anyone else that wants to play around with them) - one with the metronome present - one with the clicks cleaned off. Still have a couple of flubbed noted - damn it! - but whachagonnado when you (meaning I) play so badly @&$%#!^#***
