This vid was put together only as a beginners lesson for Delcamp.net - it surely covers a topic which anyone who has played for 10 minutes already know. If you have not yet grabbed nader's harmonics chart - please do so - it is a terRIFIC resource... http://www.delcamp.net/forum/en/viewtopic.php?t=2353 As additional text info - here is a list of harmonics available and where each can be played:  12 - 1 octave above fundamental  7, 19 - 12th above fundamental  5, 3/4 down string - 2 octaves above fundamental  4, 9, 16, @ 4/5 down string - 2 octaves plus a Maj. 3rd  3, @ 5/6 down string - 2 octaves plus a 5th  between 2 & 3, @ 6/7 down the string - 2 octaves plus a minor 7th  2, @ 7/8 down the string 3 octaves One thing I did not cover in the vids is the fact that you CAN play a harmonic in such a way that TWO tones are actually sounded: the desired harmonic AND the fundamental. This is accomplished by a very very very light touch (damp) so that, when the string is plucked, BOTH the harmonic and the fundamental will ring. Caveats: - I am NOT a teacher - my technique SUCKS! - my memory, if not totally flawed, is, at best, spotty
