Installing havBpNet:J

NOTE: The information and instruction in this page assume that havBpNet:J is rooted in a directory named havSoftwareNN. If you have installed it somewhere else, make the appropriate adjustments when you read the information below.

havBpNet:J directory tree

Installing the havBpNet:J distribution creates the following directory structure:

/lib/havNN - package root for class files
/lib/havNN/havBpNet - class files in the havBpNet package (network classes)
/lib/havNN/havData - class files in the havDatat package (data classes)
/lib/havNN/havSystem - class files in the havSystem package (enums & utils)
/src/havNN - package root for source files
/src/havNN/havBpNet - source files in the havBpNet package (network classes)

Configuration Variables:

CLASSPATH - you should add havSoftware/lib to your classpath environment variable
Shortcuts - sometimes it's nice to use shortcuts to run your java applications so we've provided two example shortcuts for the sonar demo appliaction. You may need to adjust the properties of these two examples to point to where you have installed havBpNetJ. Just right-click on the file explorer listing and select "properties" and then the "Shortcut" tab to edit the appropriate location pointers.
