| I walked into your site while surfing for some beginner information and I found your site to be rather inspiring. I guess with more experience comes the critical inner voice but I enjoyed every one of your bonsai's and thought they looked just like I would imagined one to be. The garden juniper was really unique and I would just love to brag about such a peice its it own 'person'. I grew up in the woods so perhaps thats why I found this art so intriguing I JUST started my first two bonsais from some maple (east coast, usa) seedlings a french lady gave to me from the woods. We were picking stinging nettles. I fell in love with these trees because by the time I got them home they were pathetic looking and leaves all wrinkled and stem hanging over half the length of the plant. I guess it shows I have ALOT to learn because I was in utter amazement when I couldnt stand looking at them and would of felt so bad for being responsible for their demise and tossed them in a glass of water--upon waking up they were straight as ever and while leaves slightly hanging I am going to give them all the time they need to recover from that long trip. Your works are such a gift. Revella

| I have enjoyed your site and your humor. I too am an older guy. Have never laid my guitar down but have only started in the classical vein (should have started years ago but we have been a low budget family for a long time) the past two years. Ah yes the hands. I have bad joints at the base of the thumb joints-no cushioning left and a slightly extended tendon in the left palm below the third finger, but play on with te help of a little Tylenol when needed.. Followed you here from Del-Camp. Really, everything here is very encouraging and your playing is better than you think it is, IMHO, after such a long break.
I will be back.

Thank you so much for your videos, they have helped me beyond belief, and Lord know I need all the help I can get. I just have a few words of advise, "DON'T PUT THAT GUITAR DOWN."
Now with that out of the way, do you happen to know where I can get my grubby little hands on the score for Chopin Etude Op 10 no. 3. I can't seem to find it written for guitar. If you could drop me a line I would greatly appreciate it, and I'll go easier on you next time. HAHAHAHA!!!

| Just Ran across your name when I was surfing for things related to my old job at Dresser Atlas. Your resume came up at it was kind of interesting. I was a well logging engineer from 1979-1988 out in Ventura California. Learned on the old analog panels and graduated up to the computerized panels (Winchester disc drives and maybe 64K core memory) and pcm downhole tools. I had the opportunity to run the normal and all of the weird tools out there both open and cased hole. Out on the platforms even used a small rotating sattelite contraption to beam my log data up and over to our processing center (Denver I think) for quick analysis. Anyway I imagine you had a hand in the Perkin-Elmer hardware /software I ran the heck out of both on land and sea, but primarily offshore for Texaco, Chevron, and union.
Just thought I would say HI! to a fellow Dresser Atlas employee. I have lost touch with all of the fellows I worked with. If you have any interest I can e-mail you some pics from my Dresser days. I have a couple dozen pictures that bring back fond memories.....
Very interesting stuff you are into these days!
Way over my mechanical engineering head though.
take care, David Green
