Welcome to the Customized Icon Viewing Page. You will find your selected icon displayed below in an oversized table cell. You can use the form below the icon display to set the color of this cell to match (or be close) to the background color of your page and then try out different color specs for the shadow and bg colors of the icon in order to find the colors that work best for your page.

Have It Your Way:

You can use this form to see the selected icon on a background that is more like your page's background and try out some custom colors for the shadow and/or window background. Just fill the fields below as needed and click the REVIEW button. Once you are satisfied with the shadow and little window background colors, you can view the image tag to include in your page - or - simply do a "right click" save of the icon as it appears above.

Table Cell Color:
This should be the color of - or a color close to - your page's background color.
Icon's Shadow Color:
The color to make the icon's shadow component.
Icon's Background Color:
The color to make the icon's little "Window Background".

A Little Background On RGB Color Specification:

Some example color specs are listed below FYI.

Each color spec is made up of three components where each component contains a 2-digit color value. Each component corresponds to the amount of a particular basic color (red, green or blue - ordered from left to right respectively) of the total color.

Component digits are hexidecimal (base 16) - so the allowable individual digits are "0123456789abcdef" and the a-f digit values may be upper- or lower- case.

So, a bright blue color spec would be 0000ff - indicating 00 red (no red) - 00 green (no green) - and ff blue (100% blue). Below are some examples of color specs...

000000 = BLACK
 ffffff = WHITE
000050 = DARK BLUE
 0000a5 = MEDIUM BLUE
 0000ff = BRIGHT BLUE
500000 = DARK RED
 a50000 = MEDIUM RED
 ff0000 = BRIGHT RED
005000 = DARK GREEN
 00a500 = MEDIUM GREEN
 00ff00 = BRIGHT GREEN
500050 = DARK PURPLE
 c0c0c0 = GRAY
 339588 = WHATEVER
